Army brat, bookworm, duckling turned awkward-as-all-get-out swan. She was never quite "enough". Not tall enough, she stood only 5'4". Not pretty enough, she was told her eyes were too wide and her face too angular. Not outgoing enough, she was painfully shy. Not smart enough, for all of her love of books she still had to work her lacking ass off for those scholarships. Not cautious enough, she was naively trusting in all of the wrong ways. So when she couldn't be enough, she had her books and her music and the little stories she would make up in her head. She was a daydreamer with an imagination to rival the best.

Things can change in a blink of an eye. Not enough can become the opposite. Stories can become reality.
