Ryl usually keeps her blonde hair pulled back into a braid, out of her face and, more importantly, away from her camera. She tends towards jeans and riding boots, with an ever-present denim jacket over one of various t-shirts. Most of the time she has a satchel at her side and a camera in her hands or hanging at her other side.

She has wide blue eyes, slightly pointed ears that indicate her partial elven heritage, and an easy smile.

From childhood, Ryl was raised with an appreciation of the outdoors. Her human grandparents owned a cabin surrounded by acres of wild land, and every summer she would visit them for a month. She learned to track and hunt from her elven mother... but from her father Ryl developed a love of art and the beauty of the world, which eventually led her to photography as a way to capture and share it with everyone.

Coming to Rhy'din, she found that elves and other other Wilding races which had been a minority on the world she knew were everywhere here, and she embraced the weirdness of it all. For the past year she has been working as a freelance photographer, working everything from weddings and fashion shoots to sporting events and major disasters.
