Due to Tormay's withdrawal of his challenge against Ticallion, it frees up a chance for Tical to be challenged. Anubis was intimating that he intended to challenge Tical, though he felt it would be impossible to challenge before the grace period started. When that happened, he invited Warlords to challenge him for his title. He then claimed that Neo being the Baron of Dockside was proof that the gods enjoy a jest.

Anubis, I already did not care for you, given that you are a slaver and I a former slave. I still remember that night when you ridiculed me after I tried to be sporting, and congratulate you on your gaining the Barony of Old Temple. And I had planned to challenge in a couple of months, as I had wanted to be a bit patient. That patience ran out once you ridiculed Neo. As much as Neo and I have had disagreements on certain subjects over the past couple months, I consider him not just a good friend, but as family. And *nobody* messes with my family.

I officially challenge you for the Barony of Battlefield Park. You have sown the wind; prepare to reap the whirlwind.

I wouldn't say he "ridiculed" me. I was able to handle that stituation in a way that satisfied me, hence "neener neener". But a challenge against Anubis is still a challenge against Anubis. I will still stand as your second.

I don't think Tical's shaking in his boots waiting for the challenge we all assumed was coming. If you're thinking he's going to come up and give you a big old hearty pat on the back and express his gratitude, I think you can keep on dreaming. In fact, I'm actually a bit disappointed that Tormay withdrew his challenge. I haven't seen Tical this irritated in a good long while and it's more than a little hot when he rips somebody apart in a ring.

That being said, this is the most amusing acceptance to a challenge I've seen in far too long. There needs to be more trash talking and less ass kissing around here.

I heartily approve of the baron's actions even though I remain disappointed that the mystery gift I was promised still hasn't arrived at my doorstep.
