Christmas Tea for Three

An Empress and the Queen of the Damned sat down to tea one day.

And all hell broke loose!

Jewell was very busy playing the perfect hostess. She was handing out hats for all those who needed them from the large cardboard box hidden beneath the table. She even offered hats to the two demons accompanying Gren. "How do you do?"

Then Krakie, Jake, and Nappy arrived. Jewell simply raised her empty glass to her lips, picked out a piece of broken glass, then took a dainty sip. "This really is a first class tea house," she confided aside to the ladies and G. "I never imagined we would get such a show!"

It ended far too soon, and Jewell craned her neck to see them go. She pulled a handkerchief from her bosom and waved it to them, "Enjoy your walk!"

The handkerchief fluttered from her hand to the table with Amthy's announcement. "Oh no! What are we to do? We simply cannot have tea without cookies!"

She looked around, distraught. Just at that moment, Joseph Jonathan Jeremiah III staggered out of the kitchen with the largest tray of scones Jewell had ever seen. He was sweating and his face was flushed for he had raced about to every single bakery in the area to buy up all the scones!

All of them.

Then he had taken the time to arrange them nicely on a tray, which he almost dumped into Lirssa and Eden's laps as he struggled to set it on the table over all the empty cups and plates.

He had barely set it down before Jewell was ordering him about. "Took long enough Jenkins. Now, I do believe we need a fresh pot of tea please! Snap snap." For good measure, she rang the bell at her side.
