Murder, Mayhem, and … Chlorophyll?!

Reports are coming in from concerned citizens who claim to have seen a bizarre new species of shambling mound. Eye witness reports describe the creature as massive, green, and with whipping sticky tentacles splaying out from its mossy bulk. One distraught resident is said to be mourning the loss of her prized pet poodle, stating that the creature shuffled into her New Haven garden and snatched the animal right off its leash! Citizens are advised to keep their dogs locked up for the night and to exercise caution while trick-or-treating throughout the city. There have been no incidents reported of children or humanoid peoples being attacked, but the populace is advised to stay on the alert regardless. Authorities on patrol are on the look-out for the creature and hoping to subdue it to avoid any catastrophes. Stay-tuned for more info.
