Birth Announcement: Welcome Baby Sayuri!

An announcement was sent from the office of House Adia to several major news networks for publication in print and online news sources.

It brings me nothing but pleasure to announce the birth of Sayuri Jeong-Adia, the child of Haru Jeong and Wylinna Newhaven. Both baby and mother are in good health, and the parents wish to thank all family and friends who have helped bring this miracle into fruition. Baby Sayuri entered the world weighing 5.8 pounds and measuring 19.8 inches.

Maggie waited a few days before coming by with a wagon load of gifts for her niece and the new parents.



Tucked in the wagon was a bundle for Haru and Linna that included:
an assortment of teas and goodies from Kitten’s Confections Bakery & Café
menu and ordering info for two weeks of lunch and dinner deliveries from Nicole's Bistro and Pizzeria
menu and ordering info for two weeks of breakfast deliveries from Ariana's Divine Delight's Bakery
a gift certificate for a couple's spa session at Whitedown Retreat

Haru and Linna,
Please put this on Sayuri's crib to help ward off bad things. My Gran has her protective charms, this is one of mine.

One of the recordings was a personal message:

Hey, kiddo! This is your Aunt Maggie!

There might be days when you wonder about it, but always remember that you are loved and have always been wanted. You weren't there to see the joy on your parents' faces when they told people you were on your way. I was. Remember they set rules and boundaries because they have walked through being a child and they want you to be safe. Eventually, you'll have your own path, it's their job as your mother and father to help you prepare for it.

Magic will likely be a part of your future. Don't be afraid of it, don't let it consume you or rule you. Become one with it, be at peace with it, and mold it to you.
