Sometime during the day a purple envelope was pinned to the board with Michelle's name on it and the word accepted underneath. When Michelle collected it, the contents of the envelope read the following.

Thursday the 25th at 11:59pm (or in other words, midnight as the day changes).

Karma is calling.

It was, on occasion, difficult to find The Anvil. Yet, due to an immense amount of persistence from the courier tasked to deliver the missive from Michelle, The Anvil was located, and signatures tenured. One for the message, the other for the courier who happened to have a near mint condition D.G.T.A wrist band. The latter was suddenly worth much more now that it also held that very distinctive scrawling.

Kruger opened the letter, and scanned its contents. Then nodded to himself, heading to the Duel of Magic offices to submit his request.

To whom it may concern (this probably means Max);

Due to a family emergency in Cadentia, Michelle and I will need to reschedule this. With your approval, we'll work out the details.

As he was heading out to the portal back to RhyDin, he changed directions heading instead toward the portal to Cadentia. "We need to go see your brother, and his holder, Weaver. Sorry, I didn't think to bring the desert wear."

Karma is calling.

After a brief rescheduling, we met tonight to see who might call the Tower in the mountain home when all is said and done.

It took us but two matches to decide it. The first found Michelle racing to a quick lead, hitting match point in a blistering three rounds. In the fourth, Kruger at last put himself on the board with an expertly crafted mirror spell (who would have thought). But as he tried to call down the fury of Earth in the next round, Michelle escaped the mortal coil and closed the first match out in her favor in but five rounds.

FINAL: Michelle Montoya def. Kruger, 5 - 1.5 in 5 rounds. - dom

The second match started in Michelle's favor again, albeit far less quickly. But her scoring was steady and she never once gave up the lead. Kruger made a valiant effort at attempting a comeback, scoring clean in round 4 and finding a favorable trade in round 5, but in much the same way as she did in the first match, Michelle closed the second in definitive fashion in just six rounds, mirroring Kruger's spell back to him to claim victory.

With that, Kruger's reign comes to an end with a promise to meet Air Keeper Xanth in the ring before long. As his reign ends, Michelle's begins and with it, a new TerraMaster rises. Congratulations Michelle and well reigned Kruger!
