Owned and operated by Valentina de Mereliot Helston al'Tan, Mont Sucre specializes in unique, handmade chocolates. Made in small batches, they are ideal for events, holidays or as a gift for that special someone. Now that the twins are off to school, Val has taken her little enterprise out of their kitchen, and into a little storefront in Old Market.
For the opening season, the following offerings are available - a delightful blend of old, and new - an homage to the season and to the place she’s come to call home.
Entre to Spring (all available in either milk or dark)
Naamah’s Kiss - Lavender infused chocolate, decorated with candied pink rose petals.
Classique - chocolate with a strawberry in gelee interior (think chocolate covered cherry)
Lip Bite - Rhubarb and Ginger infused chocolate, topped with a candied mint leaf
Tropical Escape - Mango and pineapple infused chocolate, dusted with lemon sugar crystals
Golden Tropic - chocolate truffles filled with mango puree, and topped with candied ginger
Divine Spark - Shaved candied ginger and chocolate ganache, decorated with gold dust.
Serenissima - Strawberry and basil infused chocolate with a balsamic drizzle
Spring Awakening - Mint and hibiscus infused chocolate, topped with a candied hibiscus petal

Inspired by Rhy’Dinian’s of note
Jewelled Kiss - Strawberry champagne creme, surrounded by dark chocolate and decorated with blue sugar crystals.
Lord Dragon’s Kiss - Cinnamon infused milk chocolate, decorated with edible gold flakes and red sugar crystals.
Kirn's Kiss - Strawberry vanilla ganache, coated with dried strawberry dust.
The Infamous Kiss - Ginger infused marshmallow creme coated in dark chocolate, and decorated with gold flake.
Bubbly Kiss - A dark chocolate covered cherry, decorated with a pineapple cotton candy floss.
Kiss at Your Own Risk - Milk chocolate ganache infused with slivers of candied habanero pepper, decorated with a single curl of candied pepper.
Kiss of the Anvil - Dark chocolate shell, filled with pop rocks, and rolled in more pop rocks.
Shady Kiss - Shaved black truffle in a dark chocolate ganache.
Heart of Gold - Dark chocolate truffle hearts, covered in gold dust, and filled with champagne ‘bubbles’ (inspired by the late Lirssa Sarengrave)
