Aye, I suppose you could, m'lady. I was really just enjoying your great temple... I was orphaned to and raised in a small monastary in the far counrtyside. This immaculate temple is just breath-taking... ::breathes in the crisp air that flowed trough the halls and corridors of the massive building:: Back to your humble initiative to help me find my way... I was looking for the enlightened one, whom is most devoted to the gods, who dwells within these halls... I would like to speak to he or she about certain matters of faith... ::a grim expression crosses his face before returning to its natural carved stone look, his hand wandered to the detailed scar around his neck:: I have much to repent for.... ::looks to the woman for askance::

"The Temple was designed for awe and yet provide a tranquil setting for reverence and prayer. The White Lady provides our guidance, and while I cannot take you to her, I can take you to Brother Zed, or perhaps Sister Lily could see you."

"You have scars about your throat, but we all have scars. Some are not visible on the outside."

He touched the scars as though they still ached, and I too sometimes believe my scars ache, but must put aside such thoughts.

"If you will wait here, I will see if Brother Zed or Sister Lily can see you."

Erasmus nodded slightly as he motioned for the woman to lead on. "I would be most grateful for you to show me to either Brother Zed or Sister Lily. Whichever I would not be disturbing..." He firmly planted his hands in the crook of his back as they walked together.

"Might I ask... How did you come to serve the gods of your temple?"

Dimitri walked into the Temple his burnt arm cradled by his stomach. He passed Alia anor and the new stranger and bowed. "Hullo Alia anor." He smiled and walked into the Temple slowly looking around smiling. He was home.

Erasmus' eyes followed the man with the burnt arm. "Is he a cleric of your faith? If so, why does he not heal himself?" He begins to think this place is rather odd for a temple, but just shrugs the thought away and continues to follow and listen to the woman.

"I believe we would find better luck catching Sister Lily. Brother Zed is usually cloistered at this time."

He followed as she moved toward one of the hallways leading deeper into the complex as he inquired how she'd come to serve the White Lady.

"In truth, I met a remarkable woman named Sister Seraphina. She showed me the truth of the White Lady, and I found purpose in my coming to the Temple...."

As we were walking toward Sister Lily's rooms, Dmitri walked in, his arm cradled against his stomach, "Hullo Alia Anor." He smiled and continued walking.

She smiled in return as he disappeared.

Erasmus' voice broke her reverie, "Is he a cleric of your faith? If so, why does he not heal himself?"

"Dmitri is not yet initiated into the White Lady's full services, but he has come to the Temple, and I do hope he will become fully initiated. As for healing himself, there are some wounds that cannot be healed alone."

She led him to Sister Lily's rooms, and knocked upon the door.

He walked into his room in the temple and closed the door. Dimitri sat down in the bed and looked at his badly burnt arm. The burns slowly moved up to his shoulder. "Damn..." Dimitri pulled out a potion and chugged it. The burns on his arm seemd to stop moving and slowly very slowly they began to recede.
He grunts in pain as the burns do not go away but start to cover his arm again. The half-elf leans back on the wall looking out the window waiting for the cure to take affect.

Quietly enters the room after the lady. Not knowing what to expect next, he just follows her lead.

Dimitri laid on the bed his body ached but the cure was taking in affect the burns on his body were slowly disappearing. He grunted in pain as a shot of heat went up his spine. Dimitri slowly stood up and walked to a small box and opened it and looked at the bottles of Wine and Whiskey. He grabbed one and took a long swig from it. He fell backwards and laid flat on the floor pain still scorching through his body. Only a few more hours of this he told himself.

It was in the darkest, solemnest of moments that an old friend made himself known to Dimitri. The visage of Vanion Shadowcast appeared to him as he lie there, wishing nothing more than for the pain to subside.

"Half-elf. It is nearly time for you to serve your purpose in this world. Prepare yourself."

The cold, haunting words of Vanion echoed in the room, taunting Dimitri with the inescapable truth. Some things would never change.

"get out of here!" Dimitri yells and stands up slowly and grunts in pain. "Leave here now! Begone now!" He swings at the visage but nothing happens and he leans against the door breathing heavily.

arrested

Post by Dimitri »

Dimitri walked into his room and sat down. The silence wrapped around him as he looked out the window. He reached forward and grabbed a bottle of whiskey and took a sip.

The front door of the Temple there was a loud pounding on it. A priest opened it and six gaurdsmen were standing there "Is Dimitri Locherin in on the grounds?" The leader said. The priest nodded quietly and pointed down a hall "Up the stairs and 8th door on the right"

Dimitri heard the knocks and turned around. His eyes gleamed in the moonlight as he glanced at his door. His eyes then closed and he took his Nodachi blade off and put it on the floor next to him.

The guards were walking loudly through the hallway people were peaking out of their doors to see what was going on. Then the guards stopped at Dimitri's door and pounded on it. "Dimitri Locherin come out now. You are being arrested for the burning of the Annex. Will you come peacefully."

Dimitri stood up and walked to the door and opened it. "I will" and held out his arms. The guards reached forward and put shackles on his ankles and irons on his arms and escorted him out of the Temple.

The door was opened to them, and she led the man into Lily's rooms. I
shall leave you now with Sister Lily.

Another ivory clad woman leads in in to see the young woman.

Dimitri walks into the Temple pulling at the collar around his neck. His golden gaze scans the Temple of Divine light. He walked into every room that he was allowed into. He didnt want to anger anyone, he couldnt get angry himself...Dimitri walked around aimlessly looking for Alia anor. He asked anyone he could where she could be. A few gave him an answer some just said she is at the temple or the orphanage.

After awhile he walked outside into the Temple gardens looking around. He continued to pull at the collar around his neck. Suddenly is glowed brightly electricity surged through Dimitri's body. The collar activated again, The needles in the collar shoved into his neck sending the poison into his bloodstream again. Dimitri fell to the ground forcing his dragon form down trying to focus on something other then the pain. He blacked out.

Dimitri woke some time later in a field. Everything around him was burnt to a crisp. He stood up and staggered his way to the Isle.
