Point Difference Per Duel Explanation

Post by Random McChanse »

Point Difference Per Duel, for those unfamiliar with TDL or IFL, is the difference between the number of points you scored in duels during a R stage and the number of points scored against you in those duels, divided by the number of duels you fought. There is a two point bonus for a shutout, and a three point bonus for a perfect shutout. For example:

A .def. B 5-3 in 9 rounds. (+2 Point Difference)
A .def. C 5-0 in 6 rounds. (+5 PD + 2 Shutout Bonus = +7 PD)
C .def. A 5-3 in 9 rounds. (-2 PD)
A .def. D 5-4 in 12 rounds. (+1 PD)

(2+7-2+1)/4 total duels = 2.00 (A's PDPD)
Don't underestimate me, for when I'm working I'm super shiny and sit on a post.

And I walk on ceilings, so try to mess with that, fool.
