Sign ups are starting rather early this time, so plan ahead, sign up, and be ready!
The Tournament will be happening Week 1 of the Fall Cycle.
Depending on the participants, it will either start on Sept 11 or Sept 12, whichever would allow the most Warlords to duel.
If there are enough participants, the even will be spilt over two nights.
As no Baronies are vacant, the only prize is the intercession free challenge to the Overlord.
I want to see a big tournout, so if you are a warlord, clear your calander and sign up! If you know a Warlord, tell them to sign up! If you are about to be a Warlord, get those wins and sign up!
Announce your intentions on the board or by post to me. |

I provisionally sign up for the Warlord's Tournament, dependent on the date of the tournament. _________________ DE GVSTIBVS NON EST DISPVTANDVM |

Due to lack pf participants ((and then RL drama when Teagan and Leo showed up)) The tournament will be resceduled a week from the original time.
Sept 19th at 10EST.
This date and time will change if Warlords state that a different time will work better for them. |

Alright! For a night that looked like it would end quick, it sure got interesting quick!
Guil of course fought, as he was the only one to sign up, but Rakeesh showed up out of nowhere to participate, and Teagan made it jsut in time as well!
Round Robin rules were used to determine the winner of the Tournament!
The first round Guil took on Rakeesh and the score ended 5-3 in Guil's favor. To make sure the third match would be needed, Guil was given a break and Teagan stepped in against Rakeesh. This one ended like the first match, Rakeesh winning 5-3.
The third and final match was Teagan against Guil. Teagan had to win by at least 2.5 points to take the tournament, or by two for a three way tie. It wasn't going to happen though, and Guil won it 5-4 with traded cuts in the final round.
Congratulations to Guil in winning his second WLT in a row!
Of course, for the second time in a row, Guil turned down the prize of the tournament. This time, he wasn't alone, and Rakeesh turned it down as well. So, despite losing both her duels, Teagan has been awarded the Grant to challenge Overlord Tass!
She wasted no time, and requested to have the match immediately, and Tass agreed. But without validation from G, I wasn't comfortable with calling it immediately.
Look to the cork soon! This challenge is going to happen quick, you can count on it! |

It should be noted, since I neglected to say it last night.
If I would challenge the Overlord without both being a Baron at the time, and would accept the mantle without defeating the Overlord's Champion and the Overlord consecutively, I would not be a very honorable person.
Similarly, if I would accept a Baronial Ring without defeating the sitting Baron in two consecutive matches, I would not be a very honorable person. _________________ DE GVSTIBVS NON EST DISPVTANDVM |

Your ideas of honor are somewhat questionable. Are you now saying that anyone who gained the title of Overlord are not honorable for winning it in a way different than the way you've outlined? _________________ G'nort Dragoon-Talanador
