Heat Wave in Seaside, Cause Undetermined

Temperatures in parts of Seaside district skyrocketed Wednesday morning, far outpacing the highs of other areas of town. With little meteorological evidence to support such a weather change, scientific authorities are looking for reasons why patches of the district are seeing highs in the upper 70's to low 80's. Vegetation in the area is also impacted, blooming at a rate disproportional to the season. While some are taking advantage of the beautiful weather others are wondering if it will pass in time to bring a white Yule to Seaside.
