Opal Stories

A lot of great stories have been written around the opals over the years. Koy once made a post on the RDI side to provide links to some of those tales for anyone curious in reading about them.

It's been almost 4 years since that post so I wanted to put a note up and see if those of you who have held opals and written about them might provide some links to your stories. I think ultimately it would be good to copy Koy's original post over here ('cause I suspect people looking for Opal history are looking on this site more so than on the RDI) if she's cool with that and then with it try to keep an updated link list.

Please tack on links as a response to this and I'll either modify this post late to hold an index or start a new thread.

We can, but I'd been primarily thinking of the opals. Because they sorta like characters themselves, some holders like to be able look back through past stories and incorporate various personality traits etc. Not all the time and it certainly isn't a requirement, but it's a sorta neat feature of the opals and I thought it would be good to make those stories more easily findable.

btw, Koy, for what it's worth. My ShadoWeaver story is just from 2013 while Kal held it. I'm the world's slowest writer though and just haven't finished it yet! Someday.... then Kal will be able to challenge for an opal again, lol.

Terra Master... Kinda? -- I'm not sure if this really counts as an opal story or not, but it's connected to PathFinder and the Tower of Earth. I plan to do more with it when I stop feeling lazy.

Added along with the original thread about the tournament! I think it makes sense to note PathFinder and Tower of Earth being held together (and whatever future stories may come from that ).
