2017 Madness Semi-Finals and Final

Post by Kalamere »

Below please find the matchups for the Final Four and, after that, the Final.

We have an interesting mix this year with two #6 and one #5 seed joining last year's Winner in the final four. Will Ellisa be the first Madness repeat champion? Will it be the little known ogre or the recently returned Baphelocutis, or will it be a victory for the Crew?

There are only 3 duels left before we crown this year's champion. Don't miss the action!

Final Four

Code: Select all

#6 Crunchem - vs - #6 Baphelocutis | Crunchem advances, 5-2 in 9 rounds.
#1 Ellisa Morgan - vs - #5 Myria Graziano | Myria advances, 5-3 in 11 rounds.
2017 Madness Final!

Code: Select all

#5 Myria Graziano - vs - #6 Crunchem | Myria Graziano .def. Crunchem, 5-3 in 13

Myria Graziano wins the 2017 Madness Tournament!

Congratulations to her, and as well to Crunchem who had a hell of a run to make it to the final.

I'll be in touch with our winners over the weekend an announce prize elections below.

Prizes!

First Place, Myria Graziano, claims the Overlord Challenge (to be issued within 1 week after the results of E's challenge to Jewell is officially completed) and a Baron Challenge Grant, to be gifted before this coming Sunday (5/7).

Second Place, Crunchem, elects 6 WoL to be applied to his record. This should bump the ogre up to Grand Master!

Runners Up, Ellisa Morgan and Baph, receive 3 WoL to their record.

Congratulations also to the Bracket Pool Winners!

Dris takes the 1,000 noble pool, edging out Anubis by virtue of being the only person in the pool to pick Myria as the champion.

Jak of Swords took top position in the 100 silver pool, tying Anubis and Dris who all finished with 77 points.
