A seal in black and gold wax with the impression in the wax of a panther head was at the bottom of the parchment.

We shall indeed see whether or not I achieve the goal that I have of becoming the next custodian of the Tower of Water.

After our consultation about the challenge details, this challenge for the custodianship of the Tower of Water will take place on Wednesday, February 8th at 9PM by the Eastern clock tower. The honourable Coordinator of the Duel of Magic, Max Lager, will preside over this challenge.

Tropical Cucumber Salad
Persian cucumber, ripe mango, avocado, and cilantro dressed with a sauce of
tamari, lime juice and zest, coconut sugar, and a pinch of gochugaru


Also on the buffet are a variety of sauces, including freshly-made chili crisp and Sriracha,
for those who enjoy a bit of heat in their food.

A Trio of Mini Cakes:

Coconut Rum
fluffy white cake flavored with coconut cream, shredded coconut, and aged rum
topped with a rum glaze and shredded coconut

Pineapple Upside Down
buttery yellow cake flavored with pineapple juice, vanilla, and a hint of spiced rum
topped with a brown sugar glaze, brûléed pineapple, and a maraschino cherry

Chocolate Lava
rich double-chocolate cake filled with a molten dark chocolate ganache center
topped with a dusting of cocoa powder and powdered sugar







SIGNATURE COCKTAILS

Piña Colada
Brugal Añejo rum, pineapple juice, and cream of coconut
blended together with ice and frozen pineapple
Garnished with fresh pineapple and a cherry

The Professor
Glenmorangie single malt scotch, DiSaronno amareto, and cola
Garnished with a slice of orange and a cherry

Twilight Lagoon
Lyre’s White Cane rum alternative, pineapple juice, fresh limeade, passion fruit nectar,
blue Curaçao syrup, El Guapo Polynesian Kiss Bitters, and gold luster dust
garnished with a citrus wheel and maraschino cherries

All chocolate items are made with Celestial Chocolate, which is safe for those who are allergic or otherwise sensitive to regular chocolate.

The rum in the Pineapple Upside Down cakes is cooked out, leaving behind the flavor, but the glaze on the Coconut Rum cakes is fully boozy. These are labeled to help individuals make appropriate choices.

Tonight I called this challenge between Droet and Rachael! They both showed up dressed and ready to make a splash, so let's dive right into the details of the evening, shall we?

We called forth the special ring of Poseidon, and it was Rachael who scored first in the opening match. But Droet followed up with some not so baby shark attacks --don't worry, they were safe illusions! Droet built up his lead, but a follow up exchange had both him and Rachael scoring. Only Droet brought another shark into the mix and though Rachael was clearly giving it her all, Droet tossed out an impressive whirlpool and fish were flying everywhere! And so the first match ended with a final score of 5 to 2.5 in 7 rounds.

In the second match, Rachael came out of the gate, scoring two points before Droet resorted to bringing out another whirlpool to get on the board and put a damper on any notion of a shut out this evening. The tides seemed to shift in Droet's control shortly after this as he continued to climb up the scoreboard and would keep Rachael from scoring no higher than 2.5 points. In an impressive feat, the Keeper of Water retains his title, as the second match concluded with the same score as the first!
