I've Challenged you for the Baron of Seaside, I'm using challenge right as a Warlord.

Warlord for less than a week and already issuing her first challenge! That's what I like to see!



- Title holder acceptance must be publicly posted within 5 days of this validation.
- The challenge must be fought within two weeks (14 days) of validation.
- This tool will assist in helping verify the required dates.

An clean white piece of paper embossed with the current flag of the Baron of Seaside was posted to the bulletin board in the Arena. On it was a reply in black ink written in a steady, clean hand.

To Gillette Brooke,

You've certainly thrown yourself into the deep end of the dueling pool, haven't you? You know you're welcome to walk down to the beach any day any time.

I accept your challenge.

This challenge happened tonight and it was a doozy!

Gillette Brooke brought her first challenge tonight! She fought under her flag of black with silver chains on it. Her second was Ebon Ilnaren and her person of honor was Hailey Winters. She was seeking her very first title.

Defending Seaside was Baron Droet! Droet was looking for his fourth defense. He fought under his banner of the crossed swords against a yellow and blue background. He had no second and no person of honor.

Droet chose a best of three format! He entered the ring with a sword while Gillette fought with a dagger.

Gillette was the first fighter on the board. She started the first fight with a steady defense and started to build from there. In several quick rounds, a trade of blows traded the lead back and forth. But then in the fifth round Droet broke free, catching Gillette moving low with a low strike of his sword. That was enough momentum to bring him quickly to match point, and then to the win!

FINAL: Droet the Bold def. Gillette Brooke, 5 - 1.5 in 7 rounds.

The second fight began with a trade of blows -- successive cuts from both fighters as they both came out with an aggressive agenda. In the third and fourth rounds, Droet scored in quick succession again, and in a mirror of the first fight, he was suddenly at match point. But Gillette fought her way back into it with one defense after another that worked the score back to sudden death! A parry inched her into the lead, but she couldn't hold it for long as Droet manage to pull back ahead and then close it out as he got past her defenses in a one-two strike!

FINAL: Droet the Bold def. Gillette Brooke, 6 - 4.5 in 10 rounds.

Well tried, Gillette! An impressive debut!
